On January 14, 2025, the first day of the Spring Festival travel season, the "My Railway Scenery" themed publicity campaign was launched simultaneously at major railway passenger stations in 31 provinces across China. This event is organized by the Bureau of Civilization Creation of the Central Propaganda Department, the Bureau of Network Communications of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and the Publicity Department of CR.
The campaign will focus on using railways as a link and perspective, encouraging passengers, internet users and others to create and showcase works such as photography, articles, short videos and micro-short dramas. The goal is to fully demonstrate the development achievements of Chinese-style modernization, the shared and co-created civilizational landscape, the beautiful scenery of China and touching stories of high-quality service. By using small lenses to capture the essence of a grand era, wide perspectives to reflect new developments, and micro-focus to highlight heartwarming moments, the campaign will amplify positive energy and strengthen the mainstream ideological discourse of advancing in the new era across cyberspace.
The campaign will be conducted through platforms such as the People's Daily app, Xinhua News app, China Civilization Network, People's Railway Network, Weibo, Douyin, Xiaohongshu and the "China Railway" new media. The public can submit their works by scanning QR codes, searching for "My Railway Scenery," or visiting the website's special page. Outstanding works will be showcased and shared on media platforms and high-speed trains.
Starting from the 2025 Spring Festival travel season, the first phase of the campaign will focus on the theme "The Way Home is the Most Beautiful Scenery." It encourages passengers and netizens to share the flowing scenery on their way home and tell the vibrant stories behind it. Later, the campaign will organize themed activities with unique characteristics during the summer travel season, the "May Day" holiday, the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, and will evaluate and announce the best works of the year at appropriate times.
Leaders from the Central Office of Spiritual Civilization Construction, the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, CR, as well as officials from the Civil Affairs and Internet Information Offices of various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and relevant departments and units of CR, attended the launch ceremony and on-site activities at major railway passenger stations nationwide.
