On January 6, trains 8501/2, 8506/5 and 8512/1 departed from Fengtaixi Railway Station in Beijing, Hefeidong Railway Station and Jiangcun Railway Station in Guangzhou, respectively. This marks the successful launch of the railway fast logistics demonstration trains, which enhance transportation efficiency and service quality, further improving the market competitiveness of railway freight products and helping reduce overall logistics costs in society.

　　An official from CR's Freight Department explained that these fast logistics demonstration trains operate between major economic regions, including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration, the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Chengdu-Chongqing region. There are six operational routes in total, all using containerized trains. The trains run on lines designed for a maximum speed of 120 km/h, with the actual average speed reaching up to 73 km/h. The trains travel about 1,750 kilometers per day, reducing the travel time by around 30% compared to conventional freight trains.
